Rear 1.5" lower than front

The rear of my 01 325i Sedan w/ sport package is noticeably lower than the front. I've only had the car a couple of months so I'm not sure what could be causing it. Measurements from the ground to the fender: 26" in front 24.5" in the rear. The tires are size 225/45/17 in the front and 245/40/17 in the rear. Anybody have any ideas?

check your rear shocks you could have a blown shock, i read earlier about a guy that came out and his car was lower in the back and there was fluid on the ground and the shock was blown. It could also be a broken spring? im not sure just get it all looked at.

Your springs are broken. 1.5" suggests that the break is roughly two coils up from the bottom. This is a VERY common problem (especially in northern states). Take this as an opportunity to replace the shocks and springs with something better, since you shocks are likely blown as well.

Like everyone else said, broken rear spring. Depending on how long it's been like that it has probably caused the rear shock to become blown. Time to upgrade!

Any of you guys running the H&R Cup Kit or FK Highsport? I plan on doing a few autocross events but it is my daily driver. I want something under $1000 with a drop of no more than 1.6". Any other suggestions?

The rear fenders are cut lower than the fronts by design to allow more room for the fronts to turn.

Specs the Bentley Manual:

Measured from the bottom center of wheel to the bottom of the wheel arch
17 inch
Standard Suspension Sport
F - 604mm 23.77 inches F - 589mm 23.19 inches
R - 570mm 22.44 inches R - 554mm 21.81 inches

You add in ~ 3- 3.5 inches for tires and you are spec on.
