I got a pair of Infinity CS-6 MK II Component speakers from a friend of mine, and I want to replace the front door panel speakers in my '99 328 Sedan.
The Infinity's are 6 1/2", and I think the existing speakers are 5 1/2". Will the new ones go in without a lot of hassle? |

I'm looking at the mounting template, and the diameter of mounting screw circles is about 5 1/2". Maybe the 6 1/2" number on the outside of the box is overall. I guess I just need to take the door panel off and see.

i installed 6.5 mbquart PSD in my ride front and rear. you really have to do a lil cutting to make it fit in the door panel. but the thing is the 6.5 are kinda big (depth wise), so you can't snap one of the clips back to the door. it still holds. it sounds great. i even tried putting 5.25 but they were jus too small.
