so disaster strikes again

the other day i checked to see if my car (2003 325xi sedan) had coolant and it did......today my car's temperature touched the red...i pulled over waited for it to cool off, purchased coolant and then poured it

so after like five minutes of driving the car over heats again.....so after that i pulled over checked the coolant and it was empty....I poured the coolant again drove like 30 miles but this time the car did not overheat

when i got home i checked the coolant and it was totally evaporated....and there were no leaks

someone please let me know whats going on?

coolant doesn't just disappear, could you smell it burning? how does your oil look? As chris said, if it has a milky color to it then your head gasket is toast. is your car smoking at all either from the engine or exhaust?

Have you done a coolant overhaul? If you did recheck your tubings to be sure they're secure.

You need to find the leak , if it leaks into the oil then your engine WILL need a rebuild if you just keep adding coolant.
