XM Radio and Antenna install

Lookin into getting XM. Have XM ready alpin HU and Ai-net changer so from wut i understand the reciever install should be pretty easy. Just take the Ai changer cable goin from deck to changer and plug it into tuner module instead. And then run aonther cable from Module to Changer.....plug in power and ground and that part is set. Question how do i get the antenna wire from inside the car.....to outside the car? I would imagine theres a way i could get it out there without any drilling or major modification.

I just did most of the install. I can answer the antenna question. If you get the magnetic roof mount antenna (made by terk) you are supposed to tuck the wires into the trim which goes along the edge of your back window. Once u've run them down you can just drop them off into the trunk, no need for any drilling.

if you mount the antenna on the back part of the trunk closer to the rear window you can just tuck it under the trunk and save a lot of slack incase u mount the tuner up front somewhere

hmmm........that sounds like an idea. I dont think i should experience any less reception if its on the trunk considering there are peole who mount the antenna inside the car with no probs.
