What is considered outrageous camber? Also how can I check to see if my rtabs are bad?

Just wanted to follow up -- since encountering my rubbing problems, I had my rear wheels replaced with +41mm offset (instead of the initial +38), and replaced my RTABS (with Powerflex) and NO LONGER HAVE ANY ISSUES!

I appreciate all the input, and definitely recommend replacing RTABS on used E46s with over 50k miles -- it has certainly enhanced the feel of the car considerably.
