Two of my good friends used to fly out of there (AF ROTC at SLU) but now one is deployed and the other works in Seattle. I know a non-military person that works there, as well.

You went to SLU, right?

Yep, JCSB 08.

I ask bc Aafes has good deals on Omegas. If you know someone, perhaps they could hook you up.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

I graduated from JCSB in '06.....we probably had some classes together. I majored in Finance and minored in Econ.

I'm looking to buy an Omega in the spring after bonus season comes around. I had a Rolex GMT Master that was my dad's, but my brother recently stole it (back) and I'm needing something to replace it. Maybe I'll call one of my AF friends to see what they can do. I tried looking on the AAFES site, but I can't browse since I"m not a member.

Really, there's quite a few on ebay for less than 3K BIN and on the WUS and other watch forums are selling them for 2100-2500. I wouldn't pay more than 2.5K for an Omega

The cheapest BIN Planet Ocean on ebay is $2750ish. The average is $3000+.

Are you thinking of just the regular Seamaster?

however, I have gotten into the habit of not wearing any over the last year for some reason.

I ended up going with the Michael Kors watch and I couldn't be happier! It's exactly what I was looking for, and for the price it's unbeatable.

If you want a brand new Omega Planet Ocean, it's going to be $3k+. However, in the used market, you can get them from $2100 - 2700 like BruceWonder posted. I myself have sold 2 of my PO's this year, one for $2250 and one for $2400. The $2400 was in 95%+ condition complete with box and papers. The one that sold for $2250 was still in 92%+ condition but without box and papers.

Nice, I still need to get a PO...preferably the Liquid Metal one.

Since the LM was limited production (I think), you can probably just go for the new ones with the ceramic bezel with a fully in house movement.

I only have two Omega's but I prefer to buy the Limited Edition models.
Before getting the PO Liquid Metal I really want the Speedmaster Pro Apollo 11 40th Anniversary model to go with my Apollo 11 35th Anniversary model.
