Here is the toughest watch I have owned. I'm tough on watches and this one puts up with all my fumbles. Titanium bezel, etc. replacement yacht master runs just under 30k.

They make it in platinum and it doesn't cost anywhere near $30k.

My wife loves watches though, so I buy her the nice ones.

She bought a Hermes Clipper 30+ years ago with her first bonus check and lost it the same day. About a year ago I found one from Japan (where she lost it) in perfect condition and in her size...it's possible it was her lost watch...



And this Christmas I surprised her with:


Since I had to travel for two weeks to denver I surprised her with:

(cheap hong kong watches...like $20-30 for them all)

Sad thing is she wants a Rolex next...a $27k watch $14k pre-owned even

Like CarFreak posted, it's nowhere near $30k for a Yacht Master. It's also a Platinum bezel, not titanium.

Even if you are paranoid and are worried about gray market (Joma) or buying used you should be able to get one for around $12k at any AD (brand new with full warranty and no worries)... Assuming you can find an AD with a NOS Yacht Master.

+1 to "pull the trigger"


Now, if you were talking a Yacht Master 2 then you could be in the $30k range (if you paid over full retail at an AD).
