Since his gift was from her for their engagement, I'm guessing he got her a ring with a shiny stone on it.
Shot in the dark, though.

that's a nice PAM. I am a huge pam fan. Especially the destros.
I'm having this done in Black Zirconium (for me, obviously): ![]()

That's funny, because the first thing that came to my mind was that Panerai = BMW as well.

Am going to be in San Fran in June. While there I want to grab a watch. I'm after
http://www.jomashop.com/raymond-weil...stc-20101.html $1900-ish or http://www.authenticwatches.com/omeg...201-51-00.html $3300-ish. Can I expect any cheaper a price on the Omega or similar prices in shops for the RW? Any good watch shops around SanFran? I"m only there for a concert (1 week) so it has to be in stock etc.

Also... note to everyone on this forum .... there have been many documented cases of "authenticwatches" selling replicas. A quick search of their site for currently discontinued models that are in high demand (meaning there would be no NOS available) should be the first alert that something is up; following up with searches on WIS forums will confirm that a number of people have been ripped off by them. Having said all of that.... I would buy the PO from someone on timezone.com for around $2.2k (and still have the warranty, serial, papers, etc). Good luck!

For what it's worth, you could probably get the 2500 PO from an AD for around $3300-$3500 brand new. Or, you could search TZ/WUS like the guy above me mentioned and find one in the $2500 range.

Thinking about picking this up this week, what are your general feelings toward Nixon watches?

I had two Nixon watches. They are great and last a long time. Not very comfortable though. But after two a those and a few other watches I got a Rolex.
