Thanks for suggestions, I was only showing those sites as examples of prices and whether an AD could get anywhere near them. I can't really buy off TZ as I'm only going to be there for a week so won't have time to do it via TZ plus I want to be able to try them on just in case they look too big on my wrist or I just don't like them.

So back to my original question, are there any good AD in SanFran who are known to be reasonably priced and above board. Ever links to websites about the store would be fine, then I can start sending Emails to organise a visit and make sure they have stock.

They're a decent company, I'm impressed with their Precisionist line's quartz movement.

Can I expect any cheaper a price on the Omega or similar prices in shops for the RW? Any good watch shops around SanFran?

I"m only there for a concert (1 week) so it has to be in stock etc.
See what's offered in the Duty Free shops

Bumping the thread looking for some advice.

I've been wearing a Tag quartz chronograph for about 15 years. It's been flawless save the typical battery changes, and I suspect I'll keep it forever. I use it everyday and for diving.

I'm in the market for something else, looking to spend around $500. As much as I would like something on the higher end of the scale, I simply can't justify it.

At the top of my list right now is a Movado Bold - possibly the chronograph or base model (Depending on what kind of deal I can find):

Or... a pre-owned higher-end Tag. I'd love to find a pre-owned automatic in that range as well if possible.

What do you recommend? I'm not opposed to a Seiko, but I'm just not a big fan. Thoughts?

i say save your $$ and enjoy your tag till you can save a lil more and buy an omega imo. Keeps better value and your be much happier with it in the long run.

Looks like a Daytona, the sub-dial rings are too thick looking to be a Omega Speedy Chrono unless it's the Broad Arrow model.

I'm a huge Movado fan... I know most of the guys here dont appreciate them, but for the price and quality it cant be beat in my opinion. the simple bold one is VERY nice IMO

Just got my Rolex back from service... I missed it, even after rotating some of the watches in my collection

How do the Rolex owners here keep their polished links looking good?

How long did service take you?
My watch really needs a polish. I wear it for EVERYTHING. I want it to shine. I told myself I'd just wait till it needs service because Rolex will polish it. But it's keeping time perfect.
