The Speedmaster line has some interesting offerings but for me I only want Manual Wind SpeedyPro's.

Am I the only "small wrist" guy here? There has to be at least one other person who looks like they're wearing clown shoes on their wrist with a 42-45mm watch....

I wear a 42mm and I wouldn't go any bigger than that with the size of my wrist. I think the overall size looks good.

I have small wrists. My main watch is a Rolex Air King, which many deride on here as a women's size watch. However, I got it more than a decade ago, before the whole massive-dinner-plate wristwatch trend started. It's a good, classic size that will still be okay 40 years from now.

I also have a Seiko diver's watch that is a 42, I believe. It's big, but it's also a diver/sport watch, so the larger size looks okay to me. I would never wear it with a suit, though.

I used to have airkings. 34mm is pretty small now though.

It works on my wrist, though. I suppose if I had larger wrists I'd want something different.

robbing with a sword is a good thing

My Ride: is totaled

My watch is 42mm and I would not go with anything bigger for myself
I have very skinny wrist
And I don't think I would go with anything less than about 38mm on the low end now that I am used to my watch

I agree. Considering that you get an in-house movement and classic looks, it seems like Rolex is the way to go. Yeah, Omega is slowly doing in-house movement also, but their prices are almost comparable to Rolex now.
