I'm already getting compliments about the watch/strap combination. People notice my timepiece more it seems.

Fellas, I think that I'm going to order a Gunny Caitlin 6 now. It's a blue/indigo leather and is "vintagized" as well. I think it would look slick with the proper denim. What do you guys think?

I'll probably order it 5-6mm thick again with either white, silver/grey, powder blue or black stitching and a black or polished buckle. Thoughts and/or Suggestions?

I spoke to Peter today, he said he'll make another with the correct thickness inside the spring bars. What a great guy, no argument or anything, just courteous, promt service.

Black stitching with polished buckle IMO

I think you're right! I can see that strap catching some serious attention when mated to an X-Wind.

edit:

After further contemplation, I think I'll stick with the brushed buckle. My entire watch is brushed and I feel like a polished buckle would clash. I'm still wavering between black stitching and white or grey. I feel like white or grey would pop more, and catch more eyes. Help!! Damn choices!

It might be the pic, but that almost looks like condensation over the date window.

Also, resize is your friend. Could you possibly not take up 3/4 of one page with your pics next time?

This is why I think that people ought to wear their watches daily (at least the stainless steel ones). That looks way better than new, IMHO.

Still have not found my Sub. About 95% sure my wife accidentally (?!?!?!?) tossed it out with some papers I had in a pile to review when she cleaned the kitchen (also ?!?!?!?!). I think my only option is to buy a duplicate and move on.
