I'm pretty excited. I'm actually considering selling off a couple of the quartz Tags I have to contribute to the work.
Awesome news. That Omega is a true classic. Cant wait to see the results.

If you have the chance please hold onto all of the parts that you are replacing (especially dial and bezel) trust me on this one.

Confirmed, work is underway. The shop gave a far-out estimate in case some of the parts have longer than expected lead times. Could be as long as 12 weeks, we'll see.

They are going to try to refurb the bracelet as best as they can, but make no promises. I should probably start exploring gunny straps. Any suggestions? Gotta go black, right?

small picture, off-angle looks ok...large picture with flat view, not feeling it.
I like the industrial nature of the case but the skeleton architecture of the movement doesn't match.

If it was $500 retail it would be more interesting.

Looks like Bell&Ross 03-92, AP Royal Oak, and Hublot Classic Fusion Skeleton had an incestuous menage a trois, and conceived this deformed baby.

That look is in right now....the big, beefy, industrial body with fine sexy movement guts. Honestly, for the price (if the movement is a real quality movement not some Chinese made crap) it's not a bad deal.

I use to not wear watches. Then I started wearing one, then I had to get another, now I have 10!

The watch industry was dying a few years ago, now its made a major comeback. Swiss premium watches have had their best year in decades, and affordable watches ($150 - $300) have had major growth these last 3 years. I know because I have made some decent cash on buying stock of a couple of watch manufacturers a few years ago.

I used to have several nixon watches. Every one either broke or was scratched. Quit wearing them all together and couldn't be happier.

sexy movement if they made or contracted a design to match the case, not all filigreed and dainty looking. This one looks like a generic one you find in the cheap skeletons.

Richard Mille makes some of the best skeleton watches I've seen...but you pay for it, lol.

His watches are crazy! They are a bit too much for me in terms of wearing them, but the machanics are jawdropping.

So I got my breed watch in the mail yesterday, one of the band screws was off and eventually the band came off, but I fixed it lol. This watch isn't worth the $500 it retails for nor the $100 I bought it for, looks like any other cheap $10 watch.

I like how it looks as is

As for straps, you can get a bunch of inexpensive straps and swap. I love how it looks on perforated leather
