i'd personally save 2 more months for this sh!t...

not really... ulysse nardin plays at a higher level.
i could careless if an invicta looks or reminds someone of a rolex
the maxi marine has in house movement, in house only straps ( no aftermarket strap), its quality is ludicrous...

the first time i've seen an ulysse nardin was at a jewelry store and this guy showed me a rose gold "FREAK".. that was one of the coolest watches ever. (pay riley has one)

i think i've made up my mind
i'm going to talk to my dad... show him the IWC portuguese and ask if he wants that watch... and do my best to save up by christmas to get it for him
i guess i will have to eat off the 99 cent menu for a while but i think it's possible

i figure he'll eventually pass it down to me anyway
so why not surprise him and make him real happy for a while?

i'll just wait a little longer to spoil myself

directing this question to me is unfair...
this question can be asked to like almost every person who buys anything of quality, ie rolex ferrari bmw iwc gucci etc etc

That's a good idea, plus you know it'll be coming your way down the road.

Yeah I know how you feel, I won't pay more then that if the watch is a certain price. But if it's a Panerai or AP I'll be willing to spend the couple hundred on a nice strap.

The straps in there were around $30-40 got them online, I'll have to find the website.

Also a guy on bimmerforums just started up a watch strap company with some neat stuff and discount.

Discount for OT members (15% off): BFCOT

Thanks man, I truly believe every watch has it's own beauty/look whether it's $100 - $100,000+, If it keeps good time and if I like it I don't care who makes it. I'll rock it.

This Invicta is actually one of my favorite looking watches. It's the Military Lefty Force 2770

Here's a couple pics, I rock it almost daily

Also the 3332 & 2771 are both very nice.

2771

Thanks not bad, not digging the strap. But reminds me of the Nixon 51-30 which I have and I like a lot.

My newest addition. A seiko divers 200m automatic on a black and orange NATO strap. Picked it up for only 150 and it hasn't come off my wrist. It is practically bulletproof. For now, my JLC and Oris have stayed in my drawer every since I got it a couple weeks ago.

I was offered PAM270 for a good deal, and I'm thinking of selling the PAM213 for the 270. What do you think?

Panerai is like BMW, when you like it, you usually turn into a fanatic.
