anyone in colorado springs? - Page 3

they just had a drive today that I missed. I was going to go, but spent 12 hours trying to put in my Evo3 SSK.

I ran into so many problems and with limited tools. It definitely shouldn't have taken that long. Could not get the DSSR to fit at all so I just left the old shift linkage on. Wound up getting done at 1 AM on sunday. Didn't want to drive all the way back down to the springs 4 hours later for a drive.

Post some pics of the meet tonight guys! I hope there will be another one soon, I'll be there. I moved to Pueblo West a couple weeks ago and it would be great to meet all of you! I live right next to the Pueblo Motorsports Park so it would be great to get a track day together or meet up on Friday for the drags.

Here are a couple pics of my Dakar:

The track splitter stays off, maybe for good. The roads here aren't friendly to cars that ride a couple inches off the ground haha.
I will sell it for the right price however, $400 piece from Umnitza...make an offer..,(I may just keep it for track use only).

That looks pretty sexy. Sorry I missed the meet guys. Car was in the shop getting the front bumper fixed. Long story short I slid off the road and ripped off my front molded lip last weekend. Just got it back today and leave for Vegas and Utah here in a couple of hours. Will be back by the 1st-ish, but leave for Georgia on the 6th or 7th. Definitely want to go to another meet before I head out though.

i just moved to the springs, like just yesterday... is anyone still here?

im trying to get a rogue engineering ssk installed on my M, do you guys have any good shops you would recommend?
i called Concours Cars of Colorado, a shop near where im at, and they quoted me $475-500 just to install it... yeahhh right!... i mean i would do it myself if i had the tools and the room to do it (im an aircraft mechanic so im not new to that kinda stuff).
oh and i wouldnt turn down a burger burn invitation

Wish you had revived this thread earlier; I'm leaving the country for 6 months on Friday. There's still a pretty good Bimmer Burger Night crew here; the latest schedule is over on Bimmerforums. There's still a pretty good BMW group around here
