My Ride: 2005 BMW 325I
Hello there

Hey there peeps, my name is Tony and I'm in Dallas TX. I just got me an E46 325i and I don't know whether to keep or sell as I don't know if it needs a new engine. I have replaced my cats and still same symptons. Misfire 0301 and 0303. I have not checked the FI's yet nor done a compression test. What o you guys think?

You should probably ask this question over in the General Forum. OT is only for general foolishness.

You have a 325i? Come back when you get a real E46, like a 323i.

the funny thing, if he posted "my 325 dripped oil on my driveway, whats the best way to remove the stain" he's get 101 solid scientifically backed peer reviewed logical answers.

Poor guy, gotta run back across 8 mile and post in general e46 talk.

Anyway, seriously look into a S2000. Or a Civic. Neither of which will need a new engine. Ever. Even if you skip oil changes. Only if you money shift will a new motor be required...and even then not always.

They'll both also be worth more.
