...Officer140, which department do you work for?
it's because you're carrying around so much muscle on your body

...That, and I can NEVER say "no" to pizza or gummy bears/worms. Introducing pizza will ruin my diet any day of the week. I am weak! I cannot deny it.

Most of my exercise is running. To get rid of that am I going to need to drop 5-10 lbs? or is weight training/crunches going to turn that fat into a 6er?

My diet is pretty healthy, but should I cut out bread? I eat a sandwich made with 12 grain bread for lunch.
i would be inclined to recommend a bulk rather than a cut for someone who's 5'10'' and 145 lbs. but maybe thats just me

I would agree. At 5'10, I wouldn't want to be any less than 170 lbs. I'm 5'10" as well, and I fluctuate between 185-190 (..and I have a very small waist).

This is me at 190 lbs., about 4 weeks out from competition.

You's ripped! I am a marathoner and can't carry that weight. With my musculature and skeletal structure I look bigger than I am. I'm at a good running weight in the 140's, but have this damn love handle/ponch problem It's like a bike spare tire

I felt uncomfortable at 190 lbs.; my natural weight is in the 180-185 lb. range. It's crazy how much difference 5-10 lbs. of lean muscle can make. I can't imagine how the guys putting on 20-30 lbs. of muscle feel. At 180, I perform optimally for short distance running (..2-4 miles), Capoeira, etc., and I still feel agile and nimble on my track bike. At 190, I felt stiff, and my kicking speed decreased (..those damn squats and hang presses) despite being more powerful overall. I've found a good compromise now.
