I think the same weekend, I will have to check with my friends but will let you know.

We also usually go at the end of August as well.

Ya, May is unfortunately a no-go for me. I started a new job and May is Ford's Sell-A-Thon event, so I won't be able to get anytime off for a trip. I was trying to get Saturday the 24th for my bday off and that was even a resounding "ya right!"

But August might work, or maybe some time in July.

Deadlift
225 x 45 reps total
Sets of 8 plus 1 set of 5 stiff legged
I probably overdid it for a "deload" workout
But DL form felt better than it has in several weeks
I even did slow lowering on some of the sets (eccentric part of the lift?) for extra time under tension plus focusing on form

Bb row
135x8 x5
Light so I focused on getting an extra squeeze at the top

Some pullups
Didn't feel too good
Could only do 5-6 at a time before hands and/or lats started giving

Lol
Your legs do not suck

Or maybe you need to forget all your metcons and do a dirty bulk while doing 5x5 and see if that does anything different for you

Last year, I mostly stayed in bed to conserve energy
Was very weak
Very dizzy at times
Barely made it

This year... it wasn't easy... but it was a lot easier
I attribute it to being in much better physical condition compared to a year ago
That sat morning hike was probably overkill though and I probably burned some muscle
