BMW beginner 320ci

Hello all.
I'm new to the site but have had my hands on my car for a few months now, it has needed a few things but I'm sorting them as i go.
So far iv had a few issues. on a lovely drive up to London at 2am to catch the eurostar to paris my water pump decided to go into retirement, this was fun as was hours from home so had to wait 4 hours for recovery and go to a Halfords automotive centre to get the car fixed.(was not impressed) many hours later and many ús lighter i was on my way to catch a later train. NIGHTMARE
since then the Thermostat has been replaced, the VCG has been changed, reverse sensors also decided to go into retirement, the air bag passenger seat sensor has failed so ordered a bypass. Discs and pads are needed all around. ummm bumpers need replacing as the previous owner took the term bumper literally. i think that is all for now.
so here it is before i owned it.

And here are the first pictures i have of it.

I want new wheels, just can't decide what ones i want, Aftermarket or BMW originals, either the MV1s or MV2s, i do like the MV4s but don't think they would look that great on this car but i also love the CSLs but again i have a baby e46, so don't really know how i feel about putting M3 CSL wheels on a 2.2L
i also want new bumpers, I'm thinking of the sport ones.
as i progress ill keep posting,

That's the dash test you can do. Hold the trip button for a few seconds and do test 3.0 I believe. I'm not really sure what it's for other then to make sure all the dials are working.
How have you seem that pic as it's not on here?
Anyway quick question. Will CSL wheels go straight on my car?

Depends on other characteristics too but generally yes mine are 18in 8inch front and 9 inch rear offset is 38 and 40. The tires are 225/45/18 front and 245/40/18 rear.

I would assume more than just a fender roll.

I would do a set of aftermarket CSL Replicas. You have 16's now right? 18 is big enough to fill the wheel well.

To press aluminium plate or not to press aluminium plate. That is the question
