At what rpm? an old VERY GENERAL and NON SPECIFIC rule of thumb for oil pressure is a minimum of 10psi per 1000rpm.

My Ride: 330 Ci
I'm not sure about the S54 but my M54 has 4 bar (58PSI) when above 1500rpm, and sits at about 1.5 bar (22PSI) at hot idle. 58PSI seems a little low to me as my previous cars that had gauges (Audi coupe quattros) all ran at 5 bar (73PSI). my 3.0 is using castrol edge, for now....
