does anyone make steelies in 17? because i called Diamond Racing and they said they only go to 16 now.

right. but those people were NOT running -4 degrees in the back on a stretched 205 or 195.

I wonder how much a 17x9 or 17x10 square set would cost anjd how much it would weight.

So i decided to look at the site. a 15x8 weights 18lbs about as much as my m68s., light weight? no way. a 15x10 weights like 24lbs.

they make custom wheels. 17x(8-24) or whatever you want.

i was gonna make a comment about the sebring but then figured it was probably a joke.

comments like your really confuse me. I drive my car hard at autoX and do well against similar class cars. I do not run against m3's cause that would be dumb. cars can be fast and performance oriented IN THEIR CLASS w/o having to be rockets. my car handles awesome, grips great, and provides plenty of power. i am happy, and performance oriented.

I need them to sit at least flush with the fender if not a tiny bit of poke. Absolutely no tire stretching and no spacers.

Offsets confuse the hell out of me.

Also with steel wheels being presumably heavier, I may want to stick to 17's rather than 18's.

Any input?

Dont know anything about fitting rims/tires but i want 2 see it done on an e46 so I'm here to tell you to DO IT.

If I go steel, I wouldn't go past 16". Those suckers are close to 20lbs each at 16"! But that's just me

This is also popular with Volvo and VW guys, and I've seen it on plenty of e30's.

As for e46's... seeing as how I can widen an oem steel BMW rim I think it's a very its very clean and appropriate choice for more aggressive wheels.
