whats funny about the Heat is every basketball fan in the world saw the problems. 3 superstars + 1 ball = decline in production. everyone also knew the Heat were paper thin at the C and PG positions, and had no depth. and yet here we are 9 games in, and the Heat due to having no PG or C, and no depth are struggling. not exactly a surprise, outside of south beach that is.

the Heat will get better, but Boston and Orlando are the top two teams in the east, with the Bulls and Hawks improving everyday. and if either Wade or Lebron get hurt, watch out, Heat will be in real trouble.

meanwhile, 9-1 for the Lakers, the real champs.

No worries dude, San Diego is the exact same way. Not so much with the Chargers, but all the college sports and the Padres especially.

Heat are on a roll no doubt. Unimpressed with the competition, but a lot of road wins and a 12 game streak is impressive nonetheless. Hate to admit it as a Laker fan, but I don't like the momentum Miami has leading up to the big Xmas game. Lakers are playing pretty weak right now. Either way, should be an exciting season, a few big trades and some great postseason match ups are inevitable.
