Hey Oliver, I forgot to ask at the meat, but you do bodywork as well as paint, right?

Kalim and I were talking about doing some fender flares or a widebody. We were debating doing metal vs cf. Do you have any experience doing modifications or do you mainly stick to repairs? Any opinion on the preferred method?

ive done stuff like that with metal panels and fiberglass but i have never done anything with cf.

cf would be a incredible amount of work.

metal probably be the best due to durability, theres nothing that can fail if your working the original metal.
fiber glass is the easiest and the fastest but it has a tendency to crack.

for what car?

well I plan on doing some rear flares or at least adding stock rear m3 flares on mine and kalim wants to do e30 style box flares on his e30.

I think he was leaning towards cf since he's done it before and is competent with it. But I was thinking about metal since ive never been successful with cf and I thought it would be easier, cheaper and quicker to do metal

kalim is a trooper if hes doing cf quarters on the m3, talk about time consuming
