oh shut up...he died the next day. it was the bleeding that killed him and not the shot. as a matter of fact he was still alive 15 seconds after the cop fired and taken to a hospital. people make it seem like he died the instant the cop shot him.

This is what happens when we train our police to always act and think they are in a war zone.

And/or at least hire qualified LEOs that aren't unstable individuals. Dude was a mess.

Cleveland officer who shot Tamir Rice had 'dismal' handgun performance for Independence police

A Nov. 29, 2012 letter contained in Tim Loehmann's personnel file from the Independence Police Department says that during firearms qualification training he was "distracted" and "weepy."

"He could not follow simple directions, could not communicate clear thoughts nor recollections, and his handgun performance was dismal," according to the letter written by Deputy Chief Jim Polak of the Independence police.

"I do not believe time, nor training, will be able to change or correct the deficiencies," Polak said.

At one point, he went to the back of the range to reload his magazine and could not return to the line where he was supposed to shoot from, Tinnierello wrote. Loehmann appeared to be crying and was emotionally upset so Tinnierello said they would stop the exercise for the day.

Don't want to get shot by the cops? Don't point a gun at the cops.

Seems pretty simple to me

TBF - there aren't nearly enough LEO applicants to fill demand, so essentially they are taking everyone at this point in time.

Yes yes yes, I know --- this is InfoWars but seriously, if you have 2 hours tonight -- watch this.

Our police resemble more and more resemble the "black helicopters" meme as time goes by. Its sad, and scary at the same time.

Here's a simple idea: how about giving yourself enough time to determine if the person's actually a threat with a real gun? Instead of rolling up on them within 5 feet and gunning them down in >5 seconds. Just a thought.

Next time you're at the range, let me know how long it takes you to draw and fire.

Depending on the holster I am using -- I can draw, aim and fire very quickly. Less than 5 seconds -- easily. (Glock G19 G3)

The thing is -- in order to pull off the 5 second draw and fire -- you have to be mentally prepared to shoot. I just shoot at paper targets, and I know ahead of time I am going to shoot at these paper targets. Its paper. Who cares.

I imagine if it was another person -- it would take a bit more time from my weapon being holstered to chambering a round and squeezing it off. I have never been in this situation (thank God) -- but -- as someone who has been playing with weapons for over 2 decades now -- I cannot imagine deciding to shoot another human being not in my home unwelcome in such a short period of time.

Then again I wasn't there -- so I am not one to judge. I don't blame the police. I blame their training more than anything.

Next time you're on the internet, watch the video and let me know how much time they took before shooting him.

So that would give an officer less than five seconds to figure out whether your gun is an air soft gun or a real gun when you go to reach for it.

Maybe they should have to wait until you actually shoot at them in order to respond.

I'd say as soon as he starts reaching for the gun, he's making himself a lethal threat.

You're ignoring the point I already made. They unnecessarily put themselves in that position.

By responding to the dispatch about somebody with a gun on the playground? How dare they.
