Living in CO ftw. That feeling when you are midway down the mountain on a perfect run (knock on wood) skis or snowboard is like sex. Purest feeling in the world. Agreed? Anyone going down a mountain knows this.

![]() Me in CO in April. Love it, gotta stick with skis though. The boarders out west tend to be a little bit more respectful, but the boarders out east are a different story. Can't even get on a lift with them without them smacking your skis with their board and scratching up your gear. Always cutting in line and smoking in line. I know they're not all like that, but you boarders have a hard reputation to beat out here - do it! Change the perception of boarders! Can't wait for ski season... the CBR and skydiving are going to have to do for summer thrills. |

I love snowboarding, but alas in NC we dont have the greatest slopes. The only plus is one of the "resorts" further up the mountain will have buy one get one free tickets during the week. It allows me to go every other week during the season. One of these days I will either head up north or out west for some real mountains. The best I can get to in reasonable time is Snowshoe in WV.

Nice... I'm stoked!! Counting the days - Vail opens in 41 days. I'm already getting the gear ready.
Ofc the best snow won't be around until Jan/Feb, but I hope we'll have some skiiable slopes long before that. |

I fall asleep looking at my baby. Long live never summer!
Moved to colorado just for the snowboarding.... Every friday they play a different snowboarding or skiing movie at the theatre on my university, it's obviously a big part of the culture. It's got me pumped! Me and my buddy hiking to the top of Mt. Bachelor in oregon, love it there. ![]() Hooray for cliffs. ![]() Lé Magnifiqué! ![]() And one of my old snowboarding PIC's ![]() Northstar was definitely my Go-to place when driving from the bay.

you don't need to bring a tripod, just an SLR, i did it that one time and decided it was way too lame having to lug my camera with me.
