I also used this app for kayaking haha.. worked awesome.

also on a side note... we got another 4" last night. the avg. snowfall here for the entire winter is somewhere around 12-16" over the course of a winter, after last night we are sitting at 22-24" already - and we still have the two heaviest snowfall months ahead of us..

should have bought a sled this year
Alpine replay does pretty much the same thing, has maps built in and tracks your runs.

Learn to turn (carve) or you are going to kill yourself, you catch an edge at high speed and you are done.

Gotta practice going down on your back edge. Then go down on your front edge. Then once you get that down you'll be able to turn. Then it's just a matter of linking the turns.

Highly suggest to anybody whether they are new or seasoned riders to get the Snowboard Addiction instructional videos. They are seriously revolutionary, Nev Lapwood of Burton walks a guy through everything from carving to going inverted.

Seriously changed my game for me and others I know.

It was pretty frustrating though. All these years I never understood why my legs were so worn out by the end of the day ... I learned that this whole time I"ve been applying all the pressure to my back leg, friends told me that's a huge no-no.

Hit 50 days on mountain yesterday. Probably 40 snowboarding and 10 skiing.

Can't go wrong with Thirty Two. Hands down the most comfortable boots i've ever had (all 3 pairs).

I saw a crotch rocket with a snowboard strapped on the back. It was really cool and I bet that guy got to park in the front.

I hurt my foot knuckling the bigger jumps. The ones that most people go around. So kind of sucks the kinds of jumps majority of people go around are the ones that will hurt. But someone's gotta go for it, don't wanna let a good jump go to waste. But I have a friend who's sponsored by Nike as an amateur and went through broken bones and surgery. It's tough if you want to be good and you have to risk it injury to get better, so that's why I don't hate on pros like Shaun White because they put themselves on the line to represent the sport.

I did check out McMorris and that guy really does kill Shaun White at Slopestyle. Does all these difficult ass tricks and lands them clean.

Why can't the Olympics include slope style as a snowboard event? If they can have slalom which is boring to watch, then they should add slopestyle.

I think I have 6-7 days in, a lot less than last year, but I should get two days in this weekend, and I have two trips planned in March.
