Girl wants to bring her friend on our 1st date?

What's your guy's take on this? I'm kinda baffled because I've never been in this situation before lol. I'm 24, she's 23. We hit it off and been talking for a week now. She's very educated and mature and she can hold a conversation pretty well too. We set up a date for this Friday, and then she wanted to go today, then she changed her mind and said lets just go Friday. Don't know if this makes a difference, but her friend is a semi-flamboyant h0mosexual guy. Some of the things I thought of right away were:

1. She's not ready/uncomfortable to be alone with me right away?
2. She's not interested and doesn't have the guts to cancel?
3. She needs her friend's approval ((a.k.a. needs others acceptance) also might pose as a future issue.)
4. She doesn't look at it as anything serious (no more than friends)
5. She wants to see how/if I get along with her friends, and if I'd be up to her standards.


I'm kinda leaning towards blowin her off because I just think that that is just ridiculous. It's kinda awkward for me too being that I kinda need to get to know her a little more and she kinda just throws her friends at me right from the get go. TIA fellas.

Gay guys are so easy to befriend, once your in with him even if she doesn't like you the fact that he's going to be telling her constantly how cute and funny you are will convince her that it might be true. Theres nothing to be nervous or scared of it's not like they're both your date to the prom.

Next time act busy and dont give up your fri/sat nights that easily. Arrange time/place if it hasn't been done already and pull both of them in. I see a 3some in your future too..jk

looks like she's trying to change the date into a generic hangout. If you don't mind, go thru with it. If you want a date, tell her to lose the clown.

Don't do it. You will really be dating the gay friend, as she will ask for advice from him on every move she will ever make with you. Find a girl that can think for herself!

in a nice way you can tell her that you are interested in her and getting to know her better and that perhaps at a later time you can all go out with a group of friends. if she balks, then you can walk.

it definitely reeks of her panicking and not having the guts to cancel on you. just move on to the next bish. no worries.

just do it, you aint got anything else going on your friday, but make sure gay guy pays for himself. You can have dinner, chit chat, then make the other dude leave, tell em you'll drop her off, bam your good to go. problem solved.

It happens. I had a girl bring her female cousin on a first date once. She did ask ahead of time if it was cool. By the end of the date her cousin was asking if I had any single friends just like me that I could hook her up with.

Don't be intimidated. Just charm them both and you should be good.

Tell her that you are interested in a date with HER - not to be screened by a friend. If she doesn't like that - you just saved yourself months of headaches.
