Noob question about H&R Race Springs

So I've been trying to read up on H&R Race Springs and I was wondering how much these things would kill my struts? I've read that a bunch of people's shocks are blown after a little over 10,000 miles with the Race Springs. Would it make a difference if I have the stock sport suspension? The blown shocks/struts that I've been reading about seem to be on regular suspension. Would my sport suspension be able to handle the springs better?

Sorry for the dumb questions, but I just want to make sure.

they will demolish stock struts, you need new shocks/struts that are designed for the shorter compression otherwise your rear will jump around and it will be ****ed. ask me how i know.

Lol, how do you know?

And I thought the sport suspension is designed to handle shorter compression?

there is shorter and then there is H&R race springs. if you buy the sport springs you should be ok for a while, but riding around on blown struts is no fun expecially when the springs are so aggressive.

H&R spring length is like ---
OEM sports springs = -----

big difference.

The aftermarket springs will wear your shocks sooner than the OE springs. I suggest going with the H&R Sport Cup Kit which pairs the Race springs with H&R matched shocks for a complete setup.
