Hi david,

I have a 325ti Compact and got the ESS kit stage 2. I love it !
Another guy on this forum has a 1999 328 Ci , also with a ESS stage 2. His nickname here is Safar. We both live in Holland...

Other possible s/c would be the AA kit. These are for sure the most common. There's also G-power and infinitas, but i don't know if anyone has their kits on this forum. If you want a turbo, perhaps Technique Tuning is your friend. Personally i like the supercharger more, because it's less of a pain to build it in... powerwise it's comparable as well...

My engine has less miles than yours; still it was well worth changing the spark plugs ; i had 80.000 km on it and changed them after the install. My fuel consumption dropped significantly (almost 10% ). Still your right foot will be the most important factor there...

good luck !

greetings,

dub

I have the AA S/C on my 2.5L, totally worth it! They have lots of kits to chose from. http://www.activeautowerke.com/ I don't represent them, just a happy customer.

I've got a 99 328i e46 with a VF (v3 vortech) that I quite regularly beat the hell out of. No problems yet. It has 135,000 on the clock. It's the the Stage 2 for m3's that lots of people complain about, this one is only 6psi, gives the 192hp a boost to about 309 or 270 at the wheels. Some hate me for suggesting it, but this lower boost is very safe on your engine and I'd recommend it. For cooling I put in a meth kit. Good luck boosting it. We need more boosted 328i's!!!!

I have a 2000 323i with the AA HKS kit on it and the car has been great to drive. I did the install at around 150,000 miles and I haven't had any major problems since then. I thought TT only makes a turbo kit for the 330.. Anyways, I don't represent AA but I'm a very happy customer like JCZ3.

Hey David ,

I am glad that your looking to go with F.I for your E46 328i. I have sent you a PM with some information regarding our Supercharger Kit. If you have any questions I will be more than glad to assist you with.
