Hey guys sorry for the noobish question! I am looking to drop my car a bit. I will be buying more than likely 18 inch wheels in the spring when i pull my car back out of storage (Maybe 19). I have no idea what my suspension set up on the car is now as i only picked it up about a month ago. I want to drop a little bit but have to be careful because i have a pretty damn steep driveway back home...
Assuming these are OEM shocks be it sport or non-sport, can i just buy the Koni sport springs and put those on? Here is a pic of my car if anyone can tell what I have from that. I'll have to go to my buddies and check them out this weekend. ![]() Thanks

You can purchase a set of H&R Sport, Race or Eibach Pro Kit springs to install on your car however I do recommend replacing the shocks depending on the current mileage. The stock shocks will fail sooner with the stiffer aftermarket springs so it is worth it to replace the shocks at the same time to save on labor.
The best option IMO is the H&R Cup Kit which is a matched spring and shock set that replaces both the factory spring and shocks. That way you get a complete suspension upgrade and replace the springs and shocks with a matched set that is designed to work together. |

Thanks for the input! I have read up a little more and either H&R cup kit sounds good or also i am kind of drawn to the Koni Yellows with H & R sport springs.. I would get more drop with the second option yellows + H&R Sport, correct?

The rear shocks will start to leak eventually with or without aftermarker springs. I would get springs and shocks/struts because your going to have everything out...you might as well.

Now I just have to pick which setup to go with. I like the height! Something to consider, thanks.

I believe the cup kit is just non-adjustable H&R's springs and shock combo. where as a coilover is a full sleeve coilover that has perches and is adjustable.
