DDM Tuning lost a customer

As the you can see in the title, they will not receive another dime from me.

Here's the story:
I ordered an M-tech II front bumper back in December 2009 when my car was in the body shop from an accident at the end of November (same year). I had made numerous calls back and forth between DDM and my body shop to fully understand what I would be purchasing/needed. After a few days of these calls, I finally pulled the trigger and bought the bumper. After my shop inspected the bumper and approved the quality, it was painted and installed. My family has been doing business with the shop for 15+ years and have never had a problem with them.

Now fast forward to about a month and a half ago. I started to notice a bubble form on the top of the bumper about the size of a quarter. I brought the car to the shop and they said that they would take care of it. Between they're work schedule, my work schedule and the problem not being an emergency, I was just able to bring the car in yesterday. When the shop removed the bubble, the paint was adhering to the primer with no problems (the bumper came primed from DDM), but the primer was peeling off the plastic. My shop told me that the releasing agent used in the mold was not properly cleaned off the plastic prior to the bumper being primed.

I called DDM to tell them what happened and expected that they would do the right thing and pay for the fix. On the contrary, they told me that my shop should have known to remove the primer, clean and re-prime the bumper prior to painting. Now, I'm not a business major (I'm actually a mechanical engineer major) but to save on production costs, wouldn't it make sense to not prime something that a shop has to prime themselves any way?

I'm stuck having to pay my body shop to strip, prime and re-paint the bumper which DDM states should have been done in the first place. So DDM will no longer have my business because they do not stand behind they're products and look to blame others for when their products have a defect.
Thanks for listening to my rant.

Im sorry, but having an Aston Martin DB9 on the drive and not driving it is a bit like having Keira Knightley in your bed and sleeping on the couch. If youve got even half a scrotum its not going to happen.
