Is that the only difference between the V3 and V4?

Yes, there are some other minor issues with the V4 that were are already aware of, but other than the buttons and faster software, there isn't really much difference.
V4s have some bluetooth and iPhone connectivity issues that the factory is aware of, other than that, it's pretty stable.

from the manufacturer, it's claimed that some connectivity issues are present in the V4 that are not present in the V3. meaning you may have issues connecting up your iPhone.

Is the signal-to-noise ratio any better with V4? Wasn't it like ~85 or so?

It's ready to ship immediately. It takes only 2 hours turn around on most orders. If you want them to be there by the weekend, choose Priority Mail right on the web site.

I have the V4 and can attest to the iphone frustrations. The dynavin has a built in ipod cable that is supposed to carry both audio and video... I have had trouble :

1. Getting my 160 gig ipod to work on it at all (no music or video). Seems like the unit isn't able to process that many songs and libraries

2. Getting my iphone4 to do any signal transfers with video. Regardless if it's a music video, movie, youtube, etc... nothing carries video wise over the built in plug and that is even with a jailbroken iphone running tvtuner (which should send ALL video)

That said, the rest of the dynavin is fantastic. There are just clearly some ipod integration issues that are either software or hardware related (i'm not savvy enough to figure out which)

Can you PM me a price of what it would cost to get this working in my NON-Navi M3? I would need the TV, Ac relocation, Double din instal kit?, PAC audio steering wheel adapter?? What else and how much shipped for all i need to have it ready to bring to an installer. I would want a V4 If there are going to be firmware updates someday to fix bugs.

You don’t need the RELOC kit, it's very helpful, but not necessary. 3M double side tape works well too and it will hold. BMW dealers sell the RELOC for around $80, but with CCA maybe cheaper.

Right now the unit is still analog and you will need a digital converter box and a TV antenna with a TV tuner.

You do not need any adapter from PAC it come with all the harness/connections necessary.

As a general FYI:
The 5M FAKRA cable is only if you already had/have a OEM navi system and want to replace it

Finally, as far as pricing for the firmware updates, I would honestly recommend you get the V3 if you don't care about the buttons, but the V4 if you do. While the V4 is a little faster, it's ultimately your call.

We've received a ton of questions about this, so here goes:
yes, we still have V3 in stock.
Yes, we have MANY v4 in stock.
Yes, they are shipping same or next business day.
Yes, the site does the calculations for the shipping (and you can choose international options for SD card maps)
yes, we do offer a warranty

I think I covered the basics for now (if you guys can post your questions here, that way we can answer them and answer more of people's questions) that would be great!

Will there be a firmware upgrade to fix the iphone/ipod and bluetooth connectivity issues in the V4?

Also, what are the BT issues?

BT - doesn't find the phone book on some phones and doesn't list the complete phone book on some phones either.

Firmware updates will happen, it will likely eventually be called V5 (just guessing here).
