Are saltwater parrot fish edible??
Just got done sea fishing here in Trinidad and happened to get lucky and catch a parrot fish, wich looks crazy cool and I am wondering if these fishes are edible? I've never caught one and all the fishermen around didn't know either. and no google isn't making it any easier for me.

Yes, you can eat Parrot Fish. I have seen thousands of those fish SCUBA diving in the Caribbean islands. Cool looking fish.

why would you want to eat a parrot fish?
they are pretty. you only eat the ugly fish like catfish, bass,tuna etc..

Whilst not the tastiest fish in the sea Parrot fish can definately be eaten. What's not so well know is that if you dry the skin, crush it and smoke it you can get a pretty intense high.
