+1 on pocket watches. I did these for my groomsmen and it was a hit. The knife idea is a good one too.

And not to thread jack but congrats on the engagement evolved. Not sure if you mentioned it in another thread, sorry I missed it if you did.

I did the usual typical stupid Flasks, w/ fly fisherman, etc on 'em. That was 1991 when flasks were "cool".

Have no ideas now cuz I don't believe in the traditional widely-accepted marriage system.

For the past 7 years I have been a strong believer in the more modern "non-committal-live-in-separate-houses fvckbuddy" system.

edit: it serves my purposes well,....(and,..I get to keep all my stuff)...... & best of all my French Canadian red-headed GF hasn't quite figured it out yet....(7 years. I dunno....perhaps she's a slow-learner, &/or simply likes the big meat hammer.)

Yeah, that's why you do a really nice knife like a bench made. I have flimsy Swiss Army knives in my drawers as well, but my nice, locking openers with Zytel grips go in my glove compartment, with me camping, diving, etc.

I wouldn't do Zytel for a wedding, though. You could also do something like Spyderco or Kershaw or CRKT.
