DICE Interferance

Hi Guys,

I was wondering a couple things. I just recently purchased the DICE Mediabridge and I read a lot of complaints about the interferance on these units and I understand that it is sensitive to each car and people have different results. I have not yet installed mine so I do not know if I will have this issue

My question is, is there a short trunk interface cable where you can keep the mediabridge in the trunk and run a long USB extender to your iphone adaptor to the center console. Would something like this fix that problem?

Also based on all the DICE mediabridge users, is there a location in the car which seems to work the best for less interferance or is it just simply cause the cable is so long? Do they sell a shorter runk interface cable where I can just keep the DICE mediabridge and an extra ipod stowed away in my trunk. I am not too much of an audiophile but would like to install this thing once and be done with it.
