Anyone have a recomendation for a shop to do a tire mount and balance, and an alignment? Can Nikolas or the place by ehrhart do tires?

I'd consider Erhardt but that will be expensive of course. I'd try Munks, I like those guys. Heard some bad stories about Motorwerks but have no personal experience with them.

I wouldn't take a dump at Nikolas' if it meant doing that or dying a horrible and painful death from intestinal explosion. I'm 41 and to date, Dave Nikolas' is the biggest #@$#%# I've ever met, I really doubt that will change even should I live to be 150YO. YMMV.

ok - lets try this again. Any repair shops around me on the west side people would trust with an BMW? I need axles, a starter and a new clutch I suppose. I got a quote of 1900 from Advanced in Farmington Hills, when I did my alignment and windshield, but that just seems really pricey.

Anyone interested in my OEM sport suspension? Came off a 2002 330ci with ~100k miles. Nothing wrong with the parts, just wanted to be a little lower so I purchased an H&R touring kit.

Also - just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Jurgen's Automotive in Livonia... Jurgen helped me out with some suspension and cooling system work last week and I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Nice guy, easy to deal with, and knowledgeable about the e46.
