The laws of the universe aren't complete , so there might be a way for us to travel greater distances in about the same time as we have achived now...

But yeah , it's pretty farfetched (since you have pretty much endless ways to go in the universe , what are the odds of anyone encountering earth...)

I have no doubt that there are or have been sentient, even intelligent beings somewhere in the universe. The problem is, when you use the same logical deductive conceptualization of the infinite breadth of the physical universe to deduce that intelligent life does or has existed elsewhere in the universe, you realize that the probability that life contacts us in the popularized manner is infinitesimally small.

3. if you look at UFO "outbreaks" in the past, they usually come in groups. One person sees something, then suddenly lots of people see things, then it slows down again for a while.

I love the concept of looking for a "cure for cancer", too. "Cancer" is a catch-all term that encompasses so many different ailments. Might as well find a cure for "sporadic cell mutation", a cure for the common cold, and a cure for the flu while we're at it.

I don't think we are alone either but I don't necessarily think that our neighbors are little green men either. It could be s life form we are not familiar with . I am not a Trekkie, but look at all the lifeforms that they had on their shows. Not all of them were 2 legged mammals we are used to seeing.


I also don't think that they have to be millions of years ahead of us in development. Look at how far we have come since the end of WW2 65 years ago. Imagine where we will be and the lifestyle we will be living 65 years from now. They could be 50 years ahead of us in technology and may be able to reach us. Who knows for sure ?

That is an interesting statistic. I am sure that it is probably correct. But you have to look at where military posts are located. Many are in rural areas but a significant number are located in and around major cities. Washington DC and Baltimore have 6 or 8 military posts within an hour from them, Jscksonville, FL; San Diego CA, Tampa Bay, FL, Colorado Springs, CO; Dayton, OH; Norfolk, VA all have major military installlations. And there are many more. I think that you could probably find any arguement you wanted to prove and say it was an hour from a military post or an hour from the ocean or...........just fill in the blank.

I think 95 percent or more can be reasonably explained as other aircraft, illusions, shadows, satellites in the sky etc...... but if one of them is correct then the entire phenomena is legitmate.

Sure..... so i was out in the field for 2 weeks.... no shower, no chow hall, just MRE's, training and exhaustion... I woke in the middle of the night and saw a hovering aircraft, circular in motion with flashing lights of different colors. I saw it for a good 30 seconds and then it was gone. Not sure if I was dreaming,just out of my mind at that point or if it was actually real. One thing is for sure, when I woke up in the morning there was a huge ass tarantula resting on my chest on top of my sleeping bag, one quick flick of my bag and he went flying ....

I think I've seen the same thing before...
I was on an exercise, out in the field for about two weeks, no shower, no hot chow. Humping a ruck about 18 hours a day, really tired.

The one I saw was kind of cigar shaped, with a large circular disc attached to it. It kind of hovered over us for a minute, there were flashing lights all over it, and then it left. No tarantula on me, though.

I think that confirms it then, UFO's on military bases do exist.

be glad, freaked me the fvck out... it is weird, during breading season, they are all over camp pendleton, ca, all over the roads and everything, people running them over .... it is like the movie Arachnid ....
