Any BMW Interior USB port

Hey all

Anyone have ideas for adding a usb port in the inside of their cars? I dont want it to play music, just charge my phone. Yall know if tapping the HVAC power wire and routing the tap to a 12V to usb converter with an inline fuse in the power wire and grounding it somewhere would work? Theoretically it does to me but anyone try this or another method of adding a USB port to their car? Any tips?

Yea I know those are on the market but the integrated usb port in the tray will be clean and out of sight

I've actually searched this because I want to do the same thing. If you search usb diy or some range of keywords then you would find tons of mods involving integrated usb. So search before asking. There are tons of people that have done this before. Usb inside the euro tray, in the coin holder, the small buttons panel, etc. There are discussions about the same question you're asking in those threads. Stop being so hot headed.
