I got the bear from my boss, deer from family and friends, swordfish from piggly wiggly, and lobster, snapper, Marlin, live clams and mussels from festive foods. I always check to find the most interesting thing I've never had when i go grocery shopping.

Awesome, just had some deer jerky & sausage over the holidays. I hate muscles & clams, the texture just ruins it for me

Mussels i made a while ago were fine, but they were a b!tch to prep. The clams the other night were delicious (cooked in a sauce made from white wine, butter, oregano, parsley, red pepper flakes, minced garlic, salt and pepper) but they were like sandy on the inside which i didn't really like. Still tasted delicious though.

I've got a few pounds of deer steaks left, about 9 pounds of bear jerky, 8 pounds of bear brats and 5 pounds of bear burger

Cherry glazed pork tenderloin with sauteed fresh baby portabella mushrooms and onions and cheesy scalloped potatoes. Mmmmm.

Complemented with a glass of estancia pinot grigio white wine and some pink Floyd.

And an oats and honey granola bar for dessert.
