speaking of GTR and Supra, Super Street's cover has a 570hp GTR. I thought "aww, 570 hp? that's cute!" Aren't these cars pretty routinely making 1000+ like Supras?

Getting to 570hp on a GTR can probably be done by doing all bolt-on mods (exhaust, downpipe, intake, and intercooler) or just turn up the boost. That 2JZTE Supra engine is essentially bullet proof if you properly build it out. I had one of the first twin t3/t4 set-ups on mine and on stock injectors I was putting down down about 450hp to the rear wheel at 1.1 bars (15-16 psi). The big problem and why I didn't go higher on the power is because it suffered serious traction issues above 500hp to the rear tire.

It is nothing like SMG.. No pump is used. More similar to the dct.

Bumpin the thread as it's coming time to make decision. I'm gonna be putting up my E92 M3 for sale next month (waiting to get the title from PenFed) and the replacement is going to either be a GTR (2011+) or GT3 (2010+...997.2 version).
