Smile NEW HPF Dry Carbon DME Cover - Pictures

We're releasing our HPF "Dry Carbon" DME Cover next week. I just wanted to post up pictures of our first article. As many of you probably know there is very little room underneath the factory DME Cover. On the HPF turbo kits, we have an additional black jumper box that makes it an even tighter fit when using the plastic factory DME cover.

We designed this "Dry Carbon" DME cover to give quite a bit more clearance for any external components to fit underneath the cover. This allows the cover to be securely tightened without the cover tugging on the wires which can create startup and drivability issues. We also created two slots for the HPF harnesses to fit through without the end user having to trim their factory cover. The rubber plug allows the harness to fit through snugly and also accomodates non HPF turbo kit customers.

I will release pricing shortly.

Chris.

I'm interested! But only if these will come in some sort of plastic or FRP. I'm anti-carbon fiber, refuse to have ANY on my car.

These are ready for sale at $299. Our first shipment of 20 will be arriving in 3 weeks. Here's a link.... http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/part...vers/DME/17222

Get the hot HPF DME Cover to finish off the look of your E46 M3 with a dry carbon accent piece. This cover not only looks fantastic but it also provides an added 1/2" of clearance for your HPF Black box so you can tighten the bolts all the way down. This cover will work on all E46 M3's and the HPF emblem can be removed if desired. To install, simply remove the bolt inserts from your plastic DME cover and insert them into the HPF carbon fiber cover, then bolt it down in place.
