To my understanding it is just how the hardware is laid out and what takes precedence over what...If you have a blackberry does it have a headphone plug? You could run a headphone to RCA adapter into the AUX IN for a hardwired backup solution that will work when you are trying to use both at the same time.

Yeah, I suppose there are a few work arounds, I am just very anti-wires and plugging things up.

Maybe take a pic and post it here for us.

by the way, I tried to return your email and it bounced back??
Well i peeled back all the trim to find this;

It was a mold that held a cluster of units together. I could not tell what was what so i marked the cables that i could find. Below are the closeup photos of each set of cables...

And the second set of cables around the back.

I had a real good look around and there are no other cables or plugs in or around that cluster of units.

Hope that helps

Also Jeff, i dont know why that email address bounced but your more then welcome to try: Honroman@gmail.com

The unit is nice overall but there are a few annoying things. The thing i hate the most is that you cant skip a song or change a radio station when in navigation mode using the the steering wheel or on board buttons.

The maps that come with the original iGO with the Dynavin will not work with the newer versions of Primo and iGO, you need the latest updated maps.

From looking at the pictures, im "guessing" the slim end of the fakra cable would fit into the blue port. THEN, the cable is fed all the way into the dash behind the unit, where the Large end (with all the pins) of the Fakra cable would plug into the Large end of the harness i received with the unit?

What im trying to say in a dodgy paint diagram;

Yes you can, you can toggle back to the main screen (radio, USB, etc) and control all the functions by pressing the NAVI button on the bottom right of the Dynavin (the navigation will continue to run while you're doing this) and once you're done press it again to go back to the navi screen

That's why I use the USB for music, no need to use the other music players in the navi section which have an ugly UI anyway.

With usb you can use the steering wheel buttons to go back and forth while watching the map?
By the way is there supposed to be a TV antenna with this units?

Actually no and no....

I dont use the usb much on the V5 but i do seem to recall having to toggle back and forth from Nav mode to make selections.

The V5 has no tv tuner.... Its an external accessory, and isnt available in the US yet.

Honro, you are going the wrong direction... The big end of the fakra should match a plug in your trunk and you will not use the smaller harness.

Hmm - Are you able to tell from my pictures if that any of the plugs i have there will suit that fakra cable?

Also, do you know if i can unplug those cables and have a look without possibly locking the stereo out etc??
