What about these on a 330D Touring?

(don't want to hijack the thread but so far, had no feedback on mine here)

Rota Torque Drift (maybe Grid Drift - 2nd pic)

8.5x18 Front and Rear
OR
8.5x18 F and 9.5x18 R

Tyre size is the question: 235/40 F and 255/35 R if fitting to 8.5 all round? Not sure what size for the 9.5 option?

I wouldn't put rota's on my Civic, let alone a bmw!

brand aside, I don't like either for a 3 series.

I know, not my first choice and know nothing about Rota as a brand really but, I want lightweight wheels...these are around 9.1 kg each.

I really like the BMW 'Performance' Style 269 alloy - one of the best looking I've seen - but it's also about 12kg.

Most alloys seem to be bought for looks rather than performance. I like both, but performance is a higher priority for me.

It's an option for sure. Also had a look at the other colour options:

Gunmetal (black),
White,
Chrome (not for me),
Bronze (seem to have 2 different bronze depending on wheel - I like the 1st one, thought it was a bit from the norm)

I'll keep on looking...

you can always buy a color you kinda like (like that bronze) and then powdercoat them to be whatever color you want.

I've been planning to get into the showroom forum with a full set of specs and pics but it's turned into Antarctica in NJ so I gotta wait til it warms up :/

back in 05 3 weeks after i got her off dealer

then got this DPE from other member 19x9 front 19x10 rear

then this Rail 17x7.5 +12 all around (IPHONE camera so.....)

still got the front lip but the car is way too low to put the lip back on !
