Maybe. But keep in mind, it's about the car looking balanced. The first thing most people's eye goes to is the fender gap. Different sized fender arcs front and rear obviously affect the perception of the car's height and rake.

But your eye will also look at the space under the car, and the lines of the bodywork. It's possible to even out the fender gaps and have the car look screwy because the gap between the ground and the bodywork changes dramatically, or because the car's lines no longer flow correctly relative to ground level.

If you took a good pic of your car from the side and had some skill with Photoshop, you could goof around with various body positions and get a feel for what you dig and what you don't.

I am as bad as you are with rim ownership. I think I am done now that I found my current wheels.

1st set: (cracked one during our really bad winter 2 years ago)


2nd set: (sold to E46 owner in FL)


3rd set: (sold to E46 owner in CT through JG Technik)


4th set: (my winter wheels since 2009)
