Finally: Dyno Shark vs Stock
The title is a bit misleading, as the car relatively stock at least.
Test car was my 2000 Z3 M52TUB25 with Shark injector, Supersprint "exhaust" (a muffler) and 'debaffled' intake. That's it. I flashed the car back to stock, made my 3 runs, and then reloaded the Shark Injector and made 3 more. First run was expected to be low, as the car had to warm up. We then did two more runs (with near identical power). We took a break, loaded in the Shark programming. The car's first one (the lowest) matched the previous best. The next run was the was better, and the 2nd run being the strongest. For the 3rd run, I took the filter out of the intake box, virtually no change in power. I have run files if anyone wants them (and to post better pictures of the graphs for me) Feel free to ask questions. And yes, I will be posting a dyno of every engine modification I do ![]() I have excessive rear camber, I know ![]() I like this picture a lot, despite it being blurry ![]() Peak power |

HP gains vary with every motor. (as from Conforti website) Edit: was wrong previously, 323 shares the same motor to me for forgetting that.

Intake should be here this week, I'll dyno it next. Still undecided on a header choice, and I'm trying to source a B30 intake manifold. I'll keep you all posted.

I see you are in Fl. Not too far from Atlanta
PM me and I'll get you with someone that does custom tunes. Shark injector is still a widely conservative off the shelf tune and a custom tune that costs only $200 more than the shark will net you much much more gains in the midrange. Shoot I bet that for free they will let you flash to stock and do some pulls, flash the shark and do some pulls, and then their custom tune to compare them all. |

I think I found out where some of my power is; Got a check engine light today with P1188 P1189 P0173 and P0170. Running lean apparently, so I'll trying cleaning the MAF, replacing the lower intake boot, replacing the crappy Bosch plugs the car came with, and putting the intake on. We'll see what happens.

Doesn't it take some time for the DME to adjust the air/fuel ratio when you de shark and reshark? Or does the shark software do all that right away?
Your M52 is running strong at 158rwhp at the wheels for being "stock", shouldn't it be around 145rwhp

I can say this car feels smoother than my last Z3, but the top end power, and mid range torque (especially when I had an intake) aren't quite there. |

Currently talking with a few people about the Schiedmann headers, or what other options I have. Worst case scenario, I go with ebay headers, and thermal wrap them again.

Added the intake today, broke some shit, so I'll probably be set back on the dyno until later next week (if possible)

Putting in my new radiator today, hopefully we'll see some dyno time by the end of the week. What should I do next? Intake manifold, Pullies, or Headers?
