What's this noise? -Video

I'm hearing a noise that sounds like its coming from the left side of the motor, and deeper in. When I first turn the car on the noise is barely there, once I drive the car the noise gets alot louder and doesn't go away. I can really hear it when I get close to the front passenger wheel. Help me out guys

Need more info. Does the noise get louder, faster or go away after warm up or under acceleration?

Is your car Auto or Manual. If Manual, does it go away when you engage a gear or clutch the pedal without selecting a gear?

Once I drive the car the noise gets as loud as it will ever be..does not get any louder than what you hear in the video. It does seem to get faster just slightly when I rev the motor just alittle, but when i'm driving the noise pretty much is gone.

The car is a manual, and it doesn't go away when I engage the clutch in any way.

I thought maybe I heard a hint of the typical idler/tensioner/belt issues' sounds, but it's hard to say from that.

Get a 5' hose about 1" in diameter (flexible electrical conduit) and listen around...you'll get much closer to finding location and from that point, you'll get fewer wild guesses.

Miles, maintenance you've done...when was the last time you did belts? Anyway, I'm just randomly going to guess pulleys, but I really have no idea if that's it. Every pulley might complain a bit about something at some time...but tensioner/idler pulleys are among the most popular 'to-go-bad' pulleys...

But be careful...if it's WP...then you'll have big issues...ditto PS pump/pulley...and if you think it sounds real bad and you don't know what you're doing much around car, take it to trusted mechanic.

Don't have one...start looking for him or preferably her!
