MK 3 won't read CD

My MK3 Nav won't read a CD. It will tell me that I need to insert the CD but when I do it will spin up then up but then eject it. I have tried it with an original CD, a copy of the original CD, another map that I bought off of ebay and an update CD. It isn't dire, I don't really need the Nav but I like things to work.

Any thoughts?

The CD player may be shot. I'd try to clean it with a CD player cleaning disk first.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Any advice on which cleaner may work best with this? I know some disks will tell you to change tracks but I won't have that ability with this unit.

Good question! I'd check Amazon for cleaning disks. Also, try a diy car audio forum. My nav is in my iPhone-Google maps!
