BMW performance suspension
Does anyone know if the BMW performance suspension the same as the suspension on a ZHP or is it the sport suspension?

I have a question. Patrick from bmwpartssource.com stated that this suspension wont (this upgrade) wont work on the 323 and 328, only the 325 and 330. Can anyone link me to where it says this. I though all non-M suspensions (minus XI) were interchangeable. He stated since it didn't pull up in his system when he typed in my car it wouldn't fit...but I beg to differ. But I also can't find any info stating this. I kinda thought it was common knowledge.
Can someone point me to this info?

I went purely off of your vin number. I am sure it would work on your car. I just am not allowed to come out and say that to you when i see it doesnt in the catalog. sorry, but I hope you understand. If on the other hand you come to me with a part number and want a price i can help you out.

According to one of the BMW websites that sells the BMW Performance Suspension Kits, one of the bulletpoints says:
Fits all [E46] coupes and sedans from 9/2001 and on. Vehicles without sports suspension require new front and rear springs. Chassis alignment required. Must provide vin number when ordering. Kit Contents: Two front suspension struts Two rear shocks Two front control arms (E46 only) Front stabilizer (for E46 only) Rear stabilizer (for E46 convertibles only) Additional front/rear shocks Additional springs & installation parts may be required (w/ nonSports packaged cars) |
