if theres an indention, you might as well cover it with something or it will look stupid upclose.

This thread has gotten way out of hand. It's a DIY thread and not a poll on whether you like his modding choices or not. If he likes the badge then it stays, period. Btw, the only reason why so many people are being so anal about this whole badge thing is because they had to pay soo much to buy the "real" stuff and now M3kid has an "exact" replica for 1/3 the price! Truth hurts huh? I've paid the exagerated prices too, but I'm not going to lash out at M3kid for that. I paid what I did because I wanted to. Personally I don't put anything on my car that is not authentic, but that's only because I hope that buying "authentic" items from respectable companies will cover my back if anything goes wrong with their products. With replicas you have no one to complain to.

M3kid you get from me!!

Actually I paid only $1005 for my genuine ACS lip WITH aluminum struts. It's nice to have hook-ups. I also agree with you when it comes to genuine mods. The exact reason I stay with name brands and not knock-offs.

Again, m3kid has a NICE car. He should be proud of his mods and the companies he represents, not try to perpetrate.

I said I was done with this thread but I guess I lied.

lol @ Tedster. you're jsut enjoying this huh. hahaha...

Thanks MPowered, Dev, Marx M3 and those who supported the idea of this DIY.

as for the stickers, yes i know. I gotta take heat from that.

Here's 2 photos for comparision. i took mine today cause it was sunny. =)

yea, there is a slight difference in the pegs....but i thinks its not noticible for day to day driving, even in carshows, unless its compared to the actural pegs.

btw: the whole lip installed, is around $650. structs, 10bux. thanks.

yup...i'm just enjoying myself reading this
But, taking your car to a show? Those hardcore fanatics will spot your struts from far away. I think I can too since I have one and I've stared at them so many times.
Adding one more to my 8 pages thread!
