E-Brake boots slide over the handle. I upgraded my 330xi's e-brake boot to the BMW Performance aluminum. You just have to work the leather handle off, takes a fair amount of effort, but it will come off. The new handle just slides over this base e-brake metal. Nothing on the center console has to be removed, the hard part is simply the time and effort to work the existing leather boot off cause its on there pretty tight.

I used to buy from Tischer but I think I'll be going with Germain BMW from now on. Just got my first order from them

they were cheaper than any online vendor I found and had $10 flat rate shipping even to Hawaii! I don't know if that was just a special or not, but their rep still has it in his sig on bfc

Huskar Auto is running a Employee pricing + shipping till end of November. Some of the prices are really cheap. I am making a laundry list including shocks , springs, bushings and so forth.
