QUESTION: Air Con fan codding...

Hi guys,

I need to know how to stop the air con fan to turn on every time I start the car.

My car is a 2001 E46 coupe. I've got NCS and PA Soft.

Anyone knows how to codding this?

Thanks!!!

Mine does the same, regardless of if I set it to off before turning off the car, it always comes back on with the same temp, and at the least, the low speed setting. Honestly I haven't plugged in the laptop yet, but might in the next couple days, seeing as I need to reset my oil change counter anyway. If I stumble upon anything, I'll report back.

I think I found the code:

UMLUFT_MEMORY (Remember last ventilation speed)

But I don't know if is because my air con unit is old (beginning of 2001) or not, it doesn't work like I expected. Better saying, the car knows the last ventilation speed, except if its OFF, it starts with the minimum ventilation speed...

I'm firing mine up tomorrow, didn't get a chance today with other stuff happening. Guess I'll see what mine acts like when I play with stuff.
